Update on Max and Meg
Max and Meg, the parents of the Phillips’ litter (many of the photos you see on this web site) have been relocated to Harmony Mountain Hunting Pudels.
The Phillips are relocating to a different house and had concerns about their new location in regards to the dogs. It looks like the folks at Harmony Mountain will keep Max and Meg busy and having fun.
Poodles are one of the oldest hunting breeds and I am glad to see Max and Meg getting back to their roots. I know they will be fine additions to the folks over at Harmony Mountain and we wish them the very best.

Poodles Gone Wild. Creole and Gumbo Play Keep-Away
Hello out there in Poodle land.
I was outside with the camera when Creole and Gumbo got in to one of their chasing moods. This is a short clip of the video I took that day as Creole gets the tennis ball and plays keep-away from her brother.
I really love the part where he is chasing her and has her tail in his mouth. He does this a lot and we think it is hilarious.
We continue to love these two dogs and they continue to provide us with hours and hours of enjoyment. Sure, they are a pain sometimes, aren’t all dogs, kids and most people? But the fun outnumbers those times 10 to 1. We love our Poodles.
How are your Poodles doing? Got any new pics you want to post?

What Flea Treatment Do You Use on Your Poodle?
When I took Gumbo to the vet the other day, I realized they are both in the 41-80 pound weight class so the dosage of their medicine is the same now. That was a relief.
What treatment do you use for your dog? Have you found it any cheaper than I show it below?
We use Revolution because it treats fleas, ticks and heart worms. Of course, before using this you need to make sure your dog does not have heart worms, see your vet for that. We have used the other brand that doesn’t cover the heart worms, but why have to keep up with two treatments if you don’t have to? Revolution seems to work fine on fleas. We are surrounded by trees on three sides in our back yard and we have yet to see a flea on either dog.
Save Money On Revolution:
After paying $94.80 for six months of Revolution at the vet’s office, I have just found it online for $58.99, that’s 37% less not including the tax savings of buying out of state online. A lesson learned. Check out Revolution at Entirely Pets. A six month supply is 61.99. Use coupon code OCT07OFF3 (expires October 31, 2007) to get an additional $3 off at checkout. That brings the price down to $58.99. I am not sure what your vet charges, but that is a significant savings over my vet’s price. We will need to get a prescription from the vet, but that is not a problem. Ground shipping is $4.95 and shipping is free over $100, so you can get a 12 month supply and lower the cost even more.
