This is my sister’s Yorkie. Her name is Annie and she is a very sweet and smart pooch. She loves carrots!
For those who have a pup from the Philips’ litter, it’s almost birthday time. On March 12 our pups will be a year old. Gumbo is still pretty puppy-like in that he is very excitable and tends to be really bouncy. Lately he jumps. We have pretty well broken him from jumping on us, but he just jumps when he gets excited. Creole was a lot like that until about three months ago. She seemed to go through a transition around the holidays where she calmed down quite a bit. Some of you who have had Standards before might can shed some light on this.
How’s your pup a year into its life? Get those cameras ready ya’ll. It’s poodle birthday time!
Here are some photos Bella sent me of her birthday party. She is quite the snappy dresser!

Hello and Happy Easter to all my brothers and everyone else from Li’l Sis!
This is not a photo of me, just one we saw and wanted to share.
-Bella
Judi was trying to snooze on the sofa when she was overcome by furry friends. First Creole jumped up and laid across her, then Gumbo jumped up to her left and took up the rest of the space.
Happy New Year to all!
These are photos of Bella the Standard Poodle. She is the only sister of Gumbo, Killee and the rest of the pups from the Philips’ litter.
She looks happy and healthy and is celebrating a Christmas bone with her older sister.

Max and Meg, the parents of the Phillips’ litter (many of the photos you see on this web site) have been relocated to Harmony Mountain Hunting Pudels.
The Phillips are relocating to a different house and had concerns about their new location in regards to the dogs. It looks like the folks at Harmony Mountain will keep Max and Meg busy and having fun.
Poodles are one of the oldest hunting breeds and I am glad to see Max and Meg getting back to their roots. I know they will be fine additions to the folks over at Harmony Mountain and we wish them the very best.
Here’s a photo of Achilles and Apollo [aka Ricky] taken two days ago. Achilles is in background, Apollo in foreground. Apollo [Ricky] was the last of the litter at Ken and Leslie’s [breeders]. Gumbo, Apollo may have your temperament, based on one of your last comments. Like you, Apollo is calmer and loves to cuddle and just hang out with grownups. Killee loves to play, play play! The two of them have been having tons of fun. But you, Gumbo, and Killee look very much alike — your hair may be a bit lighter. Apollo looks alot like Bella, don’t you think?
Apollo has been eating more and we discovered the secret — separate them! Killee eats in our Master Bathroom and Apollo will only eat outside — believe it or not! I don’t know what we’ll do when winter arrives.
They both love going to their Cookie Palaces [crates] as they get treats. We normally only put them there when we leave, but this morning they have been nonstop playing and running through the house. So for right now, they are raxing in their palaces so Mommy can get this posted. They can be quite rambunctious at times and today is one of those days. Mommy needed a few minutes of quiet.
Well, Gumbo, I think you’ve now reunited / seen all of your siblings except the final male….whom may never appear. But we’ll keep our fingers crossed!
Take care and here’s the “goodbye” from your buddy Killee –

This is a photo of Bella (formerly Maggie). Bella was adopted by a new family in the Dallas area and we are glad to be in touch with her. She is a very cute pup and is no doubt as smart and dapper as are the rest of the pups from this litter.
Welcome Bella. It is good to see your beautiful face.
Hi, Gumbo and family!
This is Killee! My parents talked to Ken and Leslie yesterday to make sure Maggie Moo made it to a good home. As you know, she has. However, that call changed my life! While talking to Ken & Leslie, Ken mentioned they still had the final baby of the litter — Ricky — and were wondering if I needed a brother for company. Well, they invited Mommy and me over for a little playtime [I even got to see Daddy Max and Belle (Weimeraner) again!] Ricky came to my home to spend the night. We’ve been playing and having fun all day today.
Mommy and Leslie spoke this afternoon, and they are going to give Ricky a few more days to hang out with me. If he gets to stay, Mommy and Daddy have suggested “Apollo” for his new name — isn’t that the coolest!?! Achilles and Apollo — the Poodle warriors!
Gumbo, Ricky looks and acts just like all of us — red headed and good natured. I’m having so much fun showing Apollo {I mean, Ricky} around our house and yard. I keep telling him we’ve gotta continue to be good so Mommy and Daddy will let him stay. I’ll let you know how this week goes. Right now, we’re “raxing” on the floor while Mommy sends the email on the good news.
I’ll send pix of Ricky aka Apollo after Daddy fires up the digi camera when he gets home. Hey, when are you coming to Big D? Can’t wait to meet you one day!
Later, bro [paw slap!],
Killee
