My Name is Gumbo

Filed under: Gumbo — Gumbo @ 9:35 pm

I am a male Standard Poodle, tan in color and am currently 10 weeks old. I love to run and play and I REALLY love to bite my older sister, Creole, on the mouth.

Our days are spent playing and chasing tennis balls when we can get our people to throw them for us. I am potty trained (for the most part) and I love hiding in the bushes and ambushing my sister when she comes by.

  1. Hi Gumbo you are a very handsome boy! I love your colors. Don’t be too mean to your sister. ;)

  2. Hi Gumbo! I am the owner of your brother, Reagan Red(Axle…)! We also have a black poodle, named Shyly! The dogs love to to run around in our back yard and play fight with each other.Reagan also loves to dig in our gardens and trample our plants. He is the sweetest dog, and loves playing with his stuffed animals. We were so excited when we saw this picture because it looks just like our little Reagan!

  3. Hi Jess and Reagan Red. WOW, all of Gumbo’s siblings are showing up on his web site, how cool is that?
He likes to run through bushes and gardens too, but we just moved in to this house and the back yard was a mess, so we are working on getting it right so he can run around in a pretty back yard.
Send me at picture to gumbo[at]creoleandgumbo.com and I will post it on the site for you.
Thanks for checking in. At this rate we’ll have to have an annual puppy reunion :)

  4. Wow - Reagon Red loves to play in the bushes, too! Achilles– Gumbo, Reagan [or is it Axle?], and Dallas’s sibling from the Phillip’s litter — has trampled our poor little bushes we’re trying to grow. Of course we just say they are getting the loving paw tracks! There are two, though, that are much bigger than him — the wax myrtle and the pampas grass. When Killee hides there, we can’t find him! He loves to dig in the mulch around our trees as well. Gosh, the reunion gets bigger!!!! Our camp has enlarged.

How many puppers were in the litter? 7 — well, we have 4 accounted for here, Ken and Leslie kept one [that’s five]……two more to go!

  5. His name is now Reagan affectionately called Rego, Ray, Raybo, and every variation of Reagan you can imagine.Reagan also loves to lie in our dirty laundry right before we do wash…. He also loves to play(and eat)the game of LIFE. He is now as big as our other black dog( who is nine years old). I will send pictures of him to your gumbo email…Thanks!
P.S.- I have never seen another puppy like him…. He eats anything!

  6. Yes - Raybo, Reagon, sounds JUST like Achilles ‘aka Killee, Killowatt, Kill and whatever else we dream up to call our sweet little boy. He loves laying in our dirty laundry piles when we do laundry and especially loves dragging Lance’s socks around our home — only time he takes mine is when I first get in from the gym. He must like girl sweat. Anyway, we are so happy that Gumbo and Creole have enlarged our camp. Cannot wait to see those photos of Reagan! I suspect he will look like Gumbo, Killee, Dallas, et al.

  8. Gumbo’s paws are bigger than Creole’s for sure. That happened about two weeks ago. All of a sudden his paws got giant overnight :)
